• Question: why is the sun so bright?

      The sun is so bright because it is basically a big ball of fire. The sun is made up of gases which are burning at very high temperatures and this creates light and heat, both of which reach the earth. We are close enough to the sun that the amount of light getting to us is very bright. If you look at the sun from Mars, or Saturn or even further away, then it is not very bright any more.
