I work in a round building (the only one at Tata Steel) which is really great because if I don’t know where someone else’s office is, I just walk around until I find it. I also have a lovely view of the tops of the blast furnaces from my office window.

I work in an office at the University of Manchester. The building is a big, grey building that kind of looks like someone’s played Tetris with it. The inside looks like this:

I share my office with around 25 other PhD students. I don’t have a great view today, as it’s raining, but generally it’s a pretty nice place to work.

Some of my colleagues go out to our radio telescopes just outside of Manchester to work (Jodrell Bank).

      Hi Laura!
I work in a very modern building here at the University of York! The Biology building is grey, orange and red from the outside and it is rectangular in shape, with two floors (I only discovered recently that there is actually a third floor, which is accessible only for the staff!!Misterious!). It has a very spacious atrium (which hosts parties sometimes!!) and very big windows, that make it overall very bright! The laboratories are in a big open space, the same for the office area.
