Hello moonl1ght, I haven’t discovered new plant species (yet), but I worked with Arabidopsis thaliana (which is widely used in all plant biology laboratories, as it is a simple plant with a well-known set of genetic characteristcs) and Nicotiana benthamiana (commonly used in the labs too, a relative to the tobacco used for cigarettes)…they get really pretty when the flowers bloom! My scientists friends work also with other interesting plants, such as willow and elephant grass!
