• Question: what helped us turn into humans?

      We turned into humans really really slowly. It would have been a really gradual process where new generations would be slightly different to previous ones. This would have happen through evolution and natural selection. So a new generation might have randomly developed some new feature or ability that the previous one didn’t have. If it turned out it was really useful then people with it would be more likely to survive than people without it. Slowly people without it would die off and the whole population would have this new ability/feature. Just like that our ancestors would have become more and more like we are today.
