      Since we don’t quite know what it is yet, that’s a hard one to answer. In most theories about our Universe, there’s just one Universe and everything in it was created in (or just after) the Big Bang – that includes dark matter and normal matter.

      I *think* there are some more exotic theories which include other universes, but there’s no evidence for them yet.
