• Question: How was the journey of trying to achieve the position of being a scientist?

      I’m still on the journey now! I’m doing my PhD at the moment, which means I’m a researcher in training. When I finish it, I will have been at university for seven years, which is quite a long time. So far, the journey has been pretty fun. There have been difficult bits, when I’ve found the work really hard, or I’ve been under lots of pressure (exams!), but it’s been worth it. I still have the same curiousity that I had when I was first thinking about studying science, and that’s what drives to me to keep going everyday. Overall, I enjoy what I do, and I feel lucky that I get to do something I enjoy everyday.

      Plus, the people I work with are lovely. That always helps!
