That’s a big question! I think we have some idea of how many galaxies there are in the observable Universe – that’s the part of the Universe that we can see. I think there are probably a few hundred billion galaxies in the observable Universe (following http://www.skyandtelescope.com/astronomy-resources/how-many-galaxies/), but it’s actually quite hard to tell. Some galaxies might be too faint for us to see, or be behind other galaxies. We might get more information in the future that changes that number.
