• Question: how do we absorb energy from the sun?

      If you mean humans, then we don’t absorb energy as far as I know. Our skin produces vitamin D in reaction to sunlight which is a very useful vitamin for making us feel good and giving us healthy bones.

      As for solar cells, some materials generate electrical current when they are exposed to light which you can use to power electrical equipment (your fridge etc)
