  At Tata Steel we don’t make cars, we make steel that is used in cars (and buildings, bridges, railways, domestic appliances etc) and what we do is work with car manufacturers to design cars that are as safe as possible. One of my inventions is a steel that is used in the front bumper of a number of cars because it has a high-strength (so it doesn’t break so easily) and it can deform which means it can absorb a lot of energy upon impact.
