I believe there is evidence that the man existed historically.

However, by ‘his ways’ I am going to guess are referring to the teachings of the bible? In which case not in the slightest, those accounts were written many years after his death by people who mostly never knew him and likely had political motives behind what was written. There are some decent moral values in there, but I don’t think a person needs such books to be a decent human.

At least that’s my opinion… cool history subject mind, I may look at it properly once I’m done reading about Vikings and Romans – they always seem a tad more exciting.
