The planet WASP-12b (catchy name, I know) is pretty cool. It’s so close to it’s star that it orbits it once a day (as compared to the Earth’s orbit which takes 365.25 days). On top of that, because it’s so close, the star’s gravity is pulling the planet into an egg shape, so it’s no longer spherical. This is strange enough, but as well as that, it’s also really hot – more than 2000 degrees! It’s possible it also has a moon too.
